Though the original focus of Goldfish was marketing and communications, we have since added financial advisory services. This combination, coupled with operational experience gives us a unique understanding of the symbiotic relationship between marketing, finance, and other departments and business functions required for sustained growth.

Since our inception in 2005, a central focus of our successful approach is to develop strategic plans and marketing tools while working closely with clients to ensure implementation and measure success.

lubbers

Caroline, founder of Goldfish Marketing Communications, is a problem solver and strategic communicator. A true out-of-the-box thinker, her passion is digging deep into brands, finding out what makes them tick, and communicating their essence and vibe in unique and unexpected ways. Caroline put her problem solving and organizational skills to use during a 3-year stint as Vice-President of Operations at a multi-channel specialty foods company that grew from $500,000 to $7 million during her tenure. Thanks to this experience, she faces challenges with a holistic view and an understanding of logistical and operational needs required for success.

Caroline also writes the award-winning food blog, Whipped, and is a known personality in the blogging and food-writing industry.

aubrecht

Courtney has a degree in television writing and production and past experience developing content for branded entertainment, satirical publication, and social media marketing. A desire to produce intelligent and shareable content is the driving force behind Courtney’s creative endeavors, and the ever-changing landscape of the marketing industry provides the excitement that sparks her love for her job. Courtney’s many talents are put to the test at Goldfish as she supports clients across a variety of different platforms and generally helps keep everything afloat. When Courtney isn’t at Goldfish she passes her weekends by playing music, riding her bike, and enjoying good beer.

gerogiannis

With an extensive background in investment banking and finance, Vasili is Goldfish’s in-house “numbers” guru. He has worked with dozens of growing companies of all sizes and has helped launch new companies, providing consultation to a number of successful entrepreneurs. Vasili advises our clients on growth planning, strategic partnerships, M&A, capital structuring and sourcing, business plans and multi-year budgets.

Though numbers are his true passion, Vasili also has a knack for language. A native Dutch speaker, he is also fluent in English and Greek. He is notorious for catching our typos and beating us at Scrabble®.
